Gospel Jubilee

PACE will be sponsoring the 13th Annual Gospel Jubilee: Celebrating Music With A Message on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Community Church, 207 NE Monroe. The admission fee remains $2.  

We are blessed to have five (5) new groups joining us this year: Hello Industry under the leadership of Nathan Peterson of Richwoods Community Church; Pulses of Hope under the guidance of Carl Cannon of the Peoria Park District; the Riverside Community Church Worship Team; Isaiah & Holy Nation, under the direction of Minister Isaiah Thornton; and the Voices of Heaven Choir from Grace Baptist Church and under the direction of Diane Grimes.  In addition, attendees will enjoy the Extravagant Worship Dance Company with artistic director Dawn Churchill, as well as Ms. Pat Ward and the popular group The Men’s Chorus from New Salem Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois. 

The Jubilee will be carrying the torch lit by Percy Baker, Jr., a vital member of our event and an organ donor recipient who passed away several days after making a personal plea at last year’s event. We will be having Ms. Damarius Blanks, the Peoria Area Regional Coordinator from the Illinois Secretary of State Organ/Tissue Donor Program, make a presentation to encourage more participation. She will also have a display table set-up during the event.  Anyone who signs up to become an organ donor, or can show that they already are one, will be eligible to participate in our drawing for prizes at the end of the evening. 

We are looking forward to having a joyous time.  Everyone is welcome to come out and bring family and friends to enjoy the evening with us.  You can’t beat the price and you’ll get more than your money’s worth through the ministry of music, singing, and dancing to celebrate the “good news”!
